Over 66 percent of respondents in other countries such as the Taiwan and Malaysia also stated that K-beauty is very popular in their countries.

This survey was conducted in the following 26 countries and territories: China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, India, Australia, Vietnam, United States, Brazil, Argentina, France, United Kingdom, Russia, Turkey, UAE, Kazakhstan, Mexico, Germany, Canada, Italy, Spain, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, and South Africa.
Original question: "How popular do you think Korean culture is in your country at the moment?" Answers were ranked from 1 to 5 with 1 stating "There are a few enthusiasts" and 5 stating "Very popular with the general public".
